• Ask for written priorities
• “You gave me 5 projects. Rank them from 1 to 5 so I know where to put my energy.”
• Kindly remind them of the consequences of constant change
• “If we change direction again, we lose X days of work already done. Is it worth it?”

What to avoid (Earth)

• Digging in your heels with: “We’ve always done it that way.”
• Refusing all novelty out of reflex.
• Expecting a detailed user manual from them: it’s not their thing.
