Air with a Fire Leader

Fire: “We’re going, now.” Air: “Wait, let’s think.”
What you can do (Air)
- Come with two options, not ten
- “We have two scenarios: fast but risky / longer but safer. Which one do you choose?”
- Help him not burn everyone out
- “If we want to go this fast, we need X more resources or Y things removed from the to-do list.”
- Use your humor to defuse tension without ridiculing him
- Lightheartedness + lucidity = a combo that can calm him down.
What to avoid (Air)
- Opposing him head-on in public.
- Being ironic about his “theatrics”: he takes it as an attack.
- Going into abstract speeches when he wants a decision.
