What if fantasy were not just entertainment? What if Tolkien, D&D, or video games had forged in our unconscious minds typologies more relevant than many management manuals?

Elves, orcs, dwarves, halflings, and other vampires are all behavioral models copied from humans—amplified, stylized, sometimes caricatured, but always revealing. And the human being might perhaps be situated at the center of this wheel, in a precarious balance between their extreme inclinations.
