Let's Play 'Do You See the Myths?!'

Hypothesis: your daily life is populated by gods, heroes, monsters, and muses

There is nothing like a game to learn or develop knowledge. "Vois-tu les mythes" (Do you see the myths) is an informal game to play alone or with others in the street, at work, on the subway, on LinkedIn, or at a cafe.

Your slightly odd colleague, always making scathing remarks that sow discord... What if they were a Loki, there to reveal the unspoken? And that girl who unconsciously draws every gaze without even meaning to, she inspires fulfillment but also envy. A modern Aphrodite? This solitary strategic manager who speaks little but when you meet their gaze, you perceive the vastness of a mysterious world. Could it be an Odin?

Why play at recognizing mythological figures around you?

Because it changes everything and helps you avoid taking behavior personally. Your Loki colleague does not hate you: they are there to provoke your growth and that of others. It allows you to play your own role better. If you are a Penelope, then why act like a Hercules? Playing is the best way to learn, and the game of myth allows for recreating bonds in groups by rebalancing energies. A special dedication to HR or bosses: a team consisting only of Apollos or Thors will burn out faster.

Recognizing the figures also means recognizing the beauty of human diversity. It is understanding that we do not all have the same engine or the same destiny.

Our neighbor can be a Loki, and even a good Loki. They disturb, reveal hypocrisies, and test limits. They are tiring but prevent little spiders from weaving webs in your community, your office, or simply under your motionless arms.

And that colleague too beautiful to be true is not just seductive; they radiate a form of power of attraction that, when used well, can soothe or inspire. An Aphrodite does not seduce just out of ego; he or she harmonizes tensions, effortlessly, naturally.

And you, which mythological figure represents you best today? Tomorrow it will be another. But this day might be under the patronage of Cassandra. Seeing what is going to happen without being heard. Staying silent and watching the world fall apart.
