The Hierodules – The Offering of Sex

It was not lamentations that one heard springing from the temples of Ishtar or Aphrodite, but moans and cries of pleasure.

The hierodules offered their bodies to the pilgrims in a sacred ritual to lead them to the divine orgasm or the "little death." They were sacred servants perpetrating the religious act of making love, the best way to rediscover the unity between heaven and flesh, between the spiritual and the material, to connect the impalpable to the palpable.

E = mc2. Energy is matter and vice versa. But to pass from one to the other, one must know the ritual.

The modern world, on the surface modest and mercantile, has transformed these priestesses into shameful witches and has forgotten that sex, when it is free, consensual, and connected to the heart, is an act of light.
