A software, not an entity

Baal is not a person. It is a mental, emotional, and organizational program that says: "Obey or be burned.", "Sacrifice what is fragile so that order may be maintained.", "The end justifies the means.", "Words are only tools of persuasion.", "It is for the common good.", implying, it is for my own good.

It uses religions, ideologies, doctrines, languages. It captures symbols. It turns them around. It makes love say that one must punish, makes peace say that one must kill, makes progress say that one must dominate. And it makes inquisitors burn those who oppose the single-minded way of thinking.
