The Weaver, a Universal Figure

In many traditions, the weaver is a sacred archetype.

Among Native Americans, she is the creative Spider, who connects all beings with her invisible threads. Among the Balts and Slavs, the goddess of destiny weaves the threads of everyone's life. Among the Norse, the Norns weave fate beneath the Yggdrasil tree.

Like Penelope, they remind us that what connects is stronger than what shines.
